    Hi Everyone,

Just wondering how good the course content is for the elected officials and senior management?    Are there other options to look into?

    Thank you,

    Stuart

Hi Stuart.  Thank you for your note.  The Professional Certificate in Asset Management Planning is ideal for elected officials and senior management.  The conversation around levels of service and risk are a particular point of interest.  NAMS Canada will begin this course on September 19 (French) and September 26 (english).  Just a note, IPWEA offer a few other courses that would be beneficial to senior management and Council,  Infrastructure Finance Management and Integrated asset management governance.  Here is a link to more information.  https://www.ipwea.org/educationandevents/ampathway

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at support@namscanada.org

    Thank you.

    Good Morning Stuart,

I agree with Troy. My current Foreman and a previous Reeve have taken the Professional Certificate in Asset Management Planning. It is beneficial as when we are discussing the assets, useful life, levels of service, risk etc that they have an understanding of the terms and concepts. Unfortunately that Reeve is now longer on council so I have lost that resource. Definitely look at the other IPWEA courses in the pathway as well as Troy suggests. I have completed those courses. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

    Kind Regards,
